The challenge
A well-run HVAC company with a strong reputation offline and almost no visibility online. The Google Business Profile was unverified and half-filled, the site had one page targeting a dozen towns, and competitors were taking every “furnace repair near me” click in the region.
What we did
We started with the fundamentals: verified and rebuilt the profile with correct categories, service areas, hours and photography, then built a review engine that added fresh, keyword-relevant reviews every week. On the site we split one generic page into nine service-area landing pages, each with genuinely local proof, then cleaned up NAP consistency across 40+ directories.
The outcome
Within five months the company held the #1 position in the local pack for its primary service terms across its core service area. Calls from Google tripled, GBP views rose 280%, and the owner stopped bidding on branded terms because organic was outperforming paid.
